2009. My Year.

First off, a very happy new year to you. Whether you've been out on the streets counting down with the fireworks exploding in the sky above you or lounging on your couch in front of the tv not even knowing the new year has arrived, I do hope you had a good time with a smile on your face (inspired by Hooi Fong).

I just had a night out and I thought the first thing I want to do will be to put my head on the pillow. But after a bath, all of a sudden I just wanted to blog.

The night had been a little fuzzy. I was not as excited about the new year as I hoped to be. Anyhow, I did manage to countdown the New Year with my bestest friend in the whole wide world (well, I did make a resolution to be nicer to her). The crowd was huge and the fireworks lame. All in all, okay. The best thing was that we ushered in the new year by watching Eason's new movie in the cinema. It was not the best movie, but it's the first thing I watched for 2009!

I have read a few people's blogs. First posts of 2009. A lot of flash backs, reminiscings, and of course, the age old favourite, resolutions. I suggested we give each other resolutions, Hooi Fong and I. Me being me, I couldn't really think of anything good. What she gave me was to make a whole lot of new friends for the new year. Widen my network. Get to know more people. All I can say is that I will try.

Then from here, I came up with my own resolution for 2009. Instead of making new friends, I shall like to get to know my existing friends. Talk more, know more. And not be afraid.

Dear Pencil Do The Thinking has been with me now since April 2008, but I only got serious about it in August, maybe? This lil' bloggie has been with me for less than half a year, but it has accumulated much of my thoughts. For the new year 2009, brace yourself, I will not give you up!

In the very near future, say tomorrow, I shall clean my room. In the quite near future, I will give lil' bloggie here a new look. These are my resolutions. Let's see if I'll break 'em.
